Dark Ages Have Not Gone Away

Devil Obcession

The Dark Ages Today,
“Are you in allegiance with the Devil? “
“No!”
“Are you in league with the Prince of Darkness?”
“No, I’m not”
“For the last time I adjure you in the name of Christ…”

Wheels turn… Bones pop out of the sockets; cartilages and ligaments break…

“Yes, yes, I am” – moaning in excruciating pain.

..pssst, hey, no one’s looking…,  “what is he like, what did he do for you?”

The most religious nation on the planet must hear and re-hear the same story over and over again, otherwise it will forget what religion is really all about.

Polls go up and they come down, McCain Obama in virtual tie, Bush sends more troops… again to liberate some distant country! We pay for it all with still swelling 10 trillion deficits. America is slowly going down. It’s nice to be altruistic, but sometimes it can breed bigoted self-righteousness. We must help ourselves first in order to help others.

In the name of being better, knowing better, liberating others, but not our selves, human lives are expandable. We bring Christ into all of this, “laying down your life for a friend” – the highest sacrifice. Is your distant Iraqi friend worth of dying for, not even a neighbor, or the next to you, as the Bible teaches? Terrorists do that already for the Koran’s sake or rather to get the 70 virgins in paradise. What are you getting from it? What are you dying it for? Ideal, doctrine, theology… stupidity.

Faith in God does not need to be defined just as He is not defined; He is Spirit, timeless, unbound by man’s dogma.

America still lives in the dark ages, and the darkness is in their narrow minds. The soap of religion has not invented any new brighter idea, the same dark ideas keep washing your brain, and if you switch to another ‘soap’, you are lost…

Washes brain

Washes brain

The battle for your mind is as the torture of the unholy inquisition. But the fear of getting light into the dark corridors of the seared with religion mind superglues you to the grid. In Europe the religious grid seems broken up and disconnected and struggling to survive. Religion is stuck in the past unwilling to move forward so it produces fright of being in error. Right now, I am working on a computer, which every few days gets an update, but I must agree before I press the ‘download’ button.

Religion, neither updates nor is willing to produce any updates, simply because it broods in the cesspool of the past and survives only in America as means for mass control. Without religion, patriotism of the present day would have no meaning.

Intelligent understanding threatens the rigid sets of rules. Experimentation belongs in medicine these days, after all, humans are expendable.

Patriotism of the Americas

8 09 2008

As the Europeans conducted their disgraceful African slave trade with the Americas, they did not keep those slaves for themselves. Americans did. As a result, there ware far fewer Negroes in Europe than in America. When The British outlawed slavery, Lincoln abolished slavery in the US, the Civil war broke out.

When we look back on the founders of this country, most of them were Caucasians and they hardly knew much about other races, but when they seized this land, as their own, white patriotism surfaced. Anyone else, not of their kind was looked down on as someone coming to take their piece of the great American pie.

Most of the Catholic Irish already carried with them a deep prejudice against Protestants, those belonging to their ‘oppressor’ the Church of England. They fought the English and won, but this time their triumph was on the newfound land of the free and the home of the brave.

In the South, slavery continued, helping creating a brand new cast of aristocracy, which, as a natural outcome of their masterful discharge, sucked on the breast of supremacy. With these deeply ingrained attitudes within the white soul, by Lincoln’s time it was unimaginable to let go of the ‘worshipped’ power and position. Europeans sold us slaves, but just sold them; Americans bought them and kept them as slaves and now they must part with them? Impossible.

Thousands upon thousands gave up their lives for human folly. You might say, “for an ideal.” However, if the grounds for the birth of such an ideal were not there, in the first place, we would not have to act mad later on. But through all these ‘ideals’, white patriotism was born.

Italians, Jews, and Slavs kept on greeting the gracious lady at Staten Island, New York, and she welcomed them, but it was not the same with those that watched her. They felt threatened; their piece of pie was about to be sliced again, and again. They traveled westward looking for the land of the red and the savage. Wild West was born. White American patriotism thrived as new additions were being installed into its bag of definitions. What is patriotism; the army, ideal, ambition, loyalty, bravery, but in the name of what, or whose America?

All minorities had to face this sort of—an imported from Catholic Ireland—patriotism and deal with it on their own terms. Clans and Mafias were formed in the name of looking after their own kind and control. Italians and Jews did their shtick in competition with the Irish and the Anglos. As criminal they might have been, that was and still is the history of this country. Every culture defines patriotism and loyalty on their own.

The time has finally arrived when all Americans were placed under the flag and sort of united. We have the Constitution and the Pledge of Allegiance, “one Nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.” Nice.

Now, in the name of these ‘values’ the Democrat is too liberal, and the Republican these values staunch supporter and as if the only voice for them. Being clad in the flag and hidden behind the 200-years-old patriotism, the Republicans cast the damning lot on the leftist liberal Democrats. After all, the Republican narrow views were the cause for the birth of liberalism in the first place. When you are oppressed, you seek liberty. Democrats are accused of being too lax in their views. Naturally, if one is narrow another seeks to widen your views. The Democrat tries to cut a new trail while the Republican wants to tread the same old trail over and over again. Keep on beating on a dead horse…

After the white American patriotism has been so well defined and the old horse tries to pull the wagon with McCain and Palin driving it, the TV adds play the National Anthem. All media now bombard us with subtle pieces of the American patriotic tunes. ‘Yes, now is the time to push the buttons in the American soul, the emotional strongholds of power and pride we have cultivated for so long.’

After all the monopoly on patriotism is the Irish Republican and the party it stands for with liberty and justice for their own kind. How can we (Republicans) allow a black man to be the next president of the United States of America? The next one, God forbid, might be another member of the underprivileged… a woman? Who, until recently – the 20th Century – were not even considered full citizens with voting rights like any other human American?

What is this coming down to? Next, we will have a Native American Indian, or Chinese… God forbid, a Jew! “We are going to lose the nation to…“ (The list of offensive names comes here).

The Limbaughs rush to the rescue, and O’Reillies rally the loose bulls still left unattended on the pastures. Sanitizing the yet un-Hannitized… screwing the yet unscrewed.

In the name of the bigoted Pharisaic patriotism, they also cried “crucify” and nothing has changed since. The wide panoramic lens the Democrats claim to possess is just too liberal.

Spinner in the ‘No-Spin Zone’

Who is smarter?

Who is smarter?

When it comes to unbiased, fair and balanced Fox News reporting, much is to be desired. Catchy slogans do just that, catch. You can hide under a slogan like Bill O’Reilly and his ‘No-Spin Zone’, but when it comes to Dems, Reps use more self-righteous epithets. Stuck in the values of the past and beating on a dead horsed they are not open for new things. Yet, they use brand new technology, flat screens TV, mobile phone and Internet. Only religion’s wheels are stuck in the mud of the past, because it constantly borrows from it. Conservative Republicans do the same, as if they are afraid of the new, the untested. That’s their only trump card they can play these days, untested inexperience.

What’s so special about being republican? Is it the huge military or the multi-trillion-pharmaceutical/medical industry? Religion, or perhaps the faithful service they do for those companies? I think they are bound up and it is too late for the truth to make them free. The past “values” like an opiate is just too addictive to let it go. Why not creating better, fresher and better values for this day and age. The Wild West is long gone.

For the Reps Clinton’s eight years in the White House was too much to bear. Economy was rolling; stock market shot through the historical 10000 mark; huge surplus; success in foreign policy, it seemed too good for the American people. Hey, let’s not forget the sax and sunglasses.
True, Billy did not leash the little Willy and left the muzzle undone in the White House. No better opportunity could arise, and Reps wasted no time. “Impeach… crucify.” Do away with the too much of the good thing… because it is not of our making.

Not Odd Couple

Not Odd Couple

Bush took over the surplus, and blew it in no time, not on hookers, mind you, but on falsehood.

Most Americans were all for removing evil dictators from power, especially those cocky ones with black hats and Cuban cigars between their teeth, wielding Winchester rifles. (Chavez watch out!)

Saddam was bad, and he was Jerry the mouse, which Tom the cat finally managed to catch. Let’s don’t forget that Saddam shot Scud missiles on Tel Aviv, produced panic among the Israeli and Palestinian populations. Israelis and Palestinians had to wear gas masks in an air sealed plastic wraps in their bomb shelters. Israeli and Western undercover agents, watched Saddam. They concluded that the crook produces and hides weapons of mass destruction while Bush was building his case and told us to blindly trust his judgment, or rather CIA. After all, CIA knows everything, or does it?

The looming scenario was getting scarier with each day. Al Qaida was supposedly being dealt with in Afghanistan and we were told that Bush would lure it into Iraq where they could fight the American Army; off American shores. Sounded good didn’t it? But once you build your house of cards from fragments of information, it’s inevitable that the house will collapse. Now, Dems found an opening and stopped building another house, but just play cards.

Since everyone looks for a role model and the moral compass you can always upset things by throwing in the Billy and his naughty Willy. One can always play ball with that.

Democracy is an interesting thing, but too roomy. In that democratic freedom there is too much room for hypocrisy and manipulation. The one caught in the middle of this struggle for democracy bends with wind’s stronger musings, or rather amusing.

The religious beer, brewed with church dogmas, has a hard time in departing from a doctrine. Whoever makes a more convincing case sways the faithful to its side until, of course, another brewing company comes up with a more convincing brew. Try to make an independent brew; you can’t. One can make him, or her, free from either dogma or watch the spectacle from a distance and at the end make an intelligent decision for the good of the country.

FOX versus NBC, Reps versus Dems, who wins? CNN.

During the Democratic Convention O’Reilly was busy peeling off his potatoes; as he says, “taking things a part” and by confusing things, supposedly in the viewer’s head, putting to rest the Democratic argument.

In his Exclusive, O’Reilly takes on the Irish kid O’bama, as someone dared to call him on the ‘Factor’. The boxing match, or rather jumping hoops, starts on Monday.

Let’s see if the ‘No-Spin Zone’ sticks true to its name.

Bill O’Reilly on Rock O’Bama

5 09 2008
Statesman or...

Statesman or...

Like the Biblical figure of Balaam the son of Beor, Bill O’Reilly took on Barack Obama to—as he delectably likes to say—peel him off.

Balak, the king of Moab sought to curse Israel. He hired Balaam, but instead of cursing, the son of Beor kept on blessing Israel. Balak was furious and said to Balaam, “What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, but behold, you have actually blessed them!” (Numbers 23:11) A couple of minutes into the exclusive interview with Barack Obama Bill’s jabs went amiss.

Power is respected these days, but insight is not, at least not yet. Someone must change that; the being-led-by the nose period has ended. And hey, O’Reilly, take on your rotisserie skewer the liberal leftist chicken and give us a whiff of Obama’s substance.

Logic, insight, and judgment are more valuable than error-laden experiences.

Hardly anyone like the Vietnam War, the maverick went perhaps too far, and he knew it. Fraught with guilt over being shut down, the proud pilot, now humiliated and dejected, refuses to return home when given a chance. Instead, he suffers—he says—for his country. Something does not fit. Why not saving your skin when you still can? We can easily peel the psychology and know the reasons.

Female Tarzan of the Jungle, hunter, fisher, wife, mom, and governor does everything at once and scores big in the wild.

You fall off the horse, then right a way you get back on the horse, and that’s what John did. He was lucky to still have a horse…. He ran for Senate with the vision of one-day becoming president. The horse shook him off several times already, but the maverick, little stiff, jumps on the beast again. Perhaps this time he can tame the horse… if the hose would let him.

How can you elect anyone on purely sympathy or just respect basis? You do not elect people because of their biography. You elect the insightful, and the intelligent. Does anyone think those eight years of shame calls for a real change?

If you choose to serve a fool, his foolishness will serve you, but if you choose the wise his wisdom will serve you too. The choice is yours, but you must have the intuition to detect it.

Put your thinking caps on, along with powerful antennas, and let your self be neutral; like a radio tuner, tune into that which you think is best.

Apparently ‘The Exclusive’ is indeed an exclusive, you can’t stick McCain on the same spit with Obama, for one, the first chicken is much younger.

Deceptive Politics

Deceptive Politics E-mail

Horror of 9/11

Horror of 9/11

No matter how you look at it, politics were, are, and always will be deceptive.
The question remains; who is the least deceptive? The whole fight is over your trust. Whoever sells best, and builds confidence, wins the voter.

Let’s take the post-9/11-hoopla with the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The fear was skillfully exploited because George Bush Senior did not finish the job in Iraq his son pledged to his daddy to get Saddam, but what lacked was legitimacy. Terrorists must find their legitimacy in the Koran and anyone, for that matter, can find it in religion. You can twist anything just to suit your views and prod your resolve. Conservatism is exactly that, something conservative, but what do they conserve. Like in the Laurel & Hardy episode when Laurel was not aware that the war was over; he was still eating from the cans the well-preserved food; tossed the can behind him on the enormous pile of used up cans; conservatives produced a heap of cans and they seem to love it.

McCain will mend fences with them too, for that’s his political compass. Sniffing something appetizing in the air his shadow buddy, Lieberman, sticks to his master in hope of getting a piece of the pie.

What are we conserving? I don’t care what is the shelve life of a conserve. I want something fresh and new, lest I get senile and forget that times have changed. Give diplomacy, logic, intelligence, and wisdom a chance.

Corporate giants love Republicans and those that love those corporate giants will dance to their tune, for even the corporate giants must have a front man… or a woman, who will show a pious face to the unsuspecting public. In the public eye, they can pooh-pooh even on themselves as long as the profit machine keeps churning… after all they must stay hidden behind their billions.

Screw the fresh-produce farmer; we’ve got the conserve.

In this political world having a public go-getter is a nice thing.

Why the formerly independent McCain turned Republican, and why Joe Lieberman slowly transits this way too is obvious.
